About

Benribs Lab was founded in 2025, following the split from EFS 91 Studio, a branch of the EFS 91 association dedicated to technological and educational development.

The project's origin dates back to the Covid period. While fencing lessons were conducted online for the Cercle d'Escrime de Yerres, a new ritual emerged: ending sessions with a video game. This unexpected format revealed a strong transmission potential, similar to that of sport, around values such as rule respect, self-improvement, emotion management, and learning through experience.

It was in this context that the EFS 91 association was born, and then, a few years later, the desire to create an independent structure to go further: Benribs Lab.

Benribs Lab's approach is also nourished by an ancient grounding in the computer world. From the 80s, programming foundations were already laid on an Oric-1, through lines of code typed by hand, between rigor and exploration. This spirit of learning through practice remains at the heart of our approach.

• RHM (Race Horse Maker): a robotic fencing training system
• Open Esport 2025: competitive open source FPS developed with Godot 4
• Minecraft Robot Plugin: educational plugin inspired by LOGO for programming learning
• Educational Minecraft Workshops: school and after-school interventions combining gaming and education
• Antisys (antisys.fr): a collaborative game within a dystopian universe
• Associative web tools: website creation, member management
• E-commerce solutions: online sales platforms adapted to small structures
